We viewed World War 2: Causes and Consequences via Discovery Education to begin our study this week. By mid week we will be looking at post WW2 Europe with the Marshall Plan and the Truman Doctrine. Watch for a quick quiz on Friday!
CFA TEST; STUDY GUIDE; WEBSITEThe test, as students know, is Thursday Dec. 10. A study guide will be handed out Tuesday, and students have their notebook in addition to use to study.
www.solpass.org - an excellent resource with games, study guides and overview of the curriculum. World War II Test, etc.The CFA test for World War II will be given on Dec. 10th. Students should begin studying their notes and textbooks to prepare.
This week we will be learning about the Holocaust. Some of this information may be disturbing. Please discuss this with your student so that they can relate their thoughts and feelings. A family trip to the Holocaust museum is a good idea as well. 11/23/09Today in class we worked on creating a timeline of important events of World War II. Students did not finish it, so they should complete for homework. Their textbooks have good examples of timelines at the beginning of each chapter.
